The best parents!

My cute mom and dad!
I just have to post about how much I love my parents! My mom and dad Wayment are the BEST parents a girl like me could ask for. They are just so loving and caring. Even now, when I'm all grown up and married and living my own life they still support me in any way that they can. My dad has been there to help us move time and time again for nothing but a hug and a "thank you." My mom sends me coupons for things she knows I will like and use and is often calling me to check on how I am. They do SO much for me and I don't think I get the chance to tell them how much I really appreciate them. My parents are just amazing.
They spoiled me when I was little with lots of presents for my birthdays and christmas and school shopping... always going over the limit for me. They supported me in anything that I wanted to do while growing up. They paid for all my Cheerleading expenses, which believe me is A LOT, and they wanted me to be a well rounded person and to be given the chance to try anything that I may desire such as singing lessons (though I never did take them and now I am bummed that I didn't) and dancing, and tumbling, and piano lessons. I even remember mentioning that I loved the violin and my dad offered to have me take lessons, but again I declined and now I regret not taking that opportunity.
They work SO hard to make me happy... even still. Our trips up to my parents cabin for family reunions is paid all by them. They fuel the 4-wheelers and buy and pay for all the food to feed all of us and they try to make it a nice place for us to stay and do their best to accommodate everyone and even clean everything up afterwards when I can't stay to help. At Christmas time they host a huge Christmas Eve party and pay for all the food... again... and for all the presents and candy. Which, believe me, is a lot to do, and my dad likes to go "all out" because Christmas is one of his favorite holidays. And when I come down to hang out with my mom, she always offers to pay for my meal.
On top of everything, this is only the worldly things that I have been given by them. They also gave me my knowledge of the gospel and helped make the Holy Spirit part of our everyday lives at home. They always pushed for me to achieve my spiritual goals and taught me how important Eternal life is and how we all need to strive to become better people like our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. They helped me gain my testimony and were there for me when I had my teenage trials. They still are there for me. They always have been... and I know they always will be. They may not be perfect all the time, but nobody is. We all have our flaws... Heaven knows I have plenty of my own. And yet, my parents still love me even with them and they still listen to me and advise me on things I need to work on. They truly are some of the best people in this world. I owe my whole life to them. They have helped shape the woman I am... and the woman I will be. I couldn't have received any better parents than these.
I love you with all my heart Mom and Dad. You mean more to me than you know. Thanks for everything you do and have done for me!

Our little "berry" :D

Well, by now I am sure most of you have heard about the AMAZING news! Yep, that's right, I am pregnant and loving every minute of it. :) As usual, I knew right from the moment I got pregnant. Not because I get sick or anything. My body just senses a change and since I have experienced it before, I immediately recognized it again. I just had to wait until my hcg levels (a type of hormone) were high enough to be seen on a pregnancy test. It's been hard to keep this a secret for so long, but since I have already miscarried once before I was worried about telling everyone right away. There is always still a chance that I could, but I am more confident that this baby is going to stay with us.
My first appointment went great and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat. Such a BEAUTIFUL sound to hear. Jordan's face just lit up when he heard it, which made my heart smile. Still cautious, I avoided letting myself get too excited. They told me I was 5 weeks and 5 days along at the appointment, which put me being due on February 8th 2012. This seemed wrong because I knew around the time I actually got pregnant and added a couple weeks (cause two of them you aren't even really pregnant) and it just didn't add up right so I was worried that maybe something was wrong with my baby. That and my hcg levels were very high for only being in the 5 week range.
On my last appointment, which was only a few days ago, I worried once again that we wouldn't be able to see a heartbeat. But when my doctor did another ultrasound we saw a beautiful baby and heard a very strong heartbeat at 175 bpm. And what's more is that I am actually farther along then they thought. I am now due on February 3rd, 2012. It's only a few days difference, but this date made a TON more sense. lol. It happens to be the same day that my cute little niece was born. But chances that I have the baby on that exact date are unlikely. I am actually hoping to have the baby a day or two earlier because it would be cool if the baby was due on 2/2/12 :) which is also Groundhogs day. I don't know why, but I have always loved this odd holiday. lol. And if the baby was born on February 1st they would be born on my Grandma's birthday. :) But I really don't care that much about the date... so long as this baby is healthy and happy. :D
We call our little baby our "berry" because I read in a book at the doctors office that at 9 weeks along the baby is the size of a strawberry. Everyone always calls their baby "bean" or "peanut" but Jordan said "it's our little berry" and we decided it fit perfectly. ha ha. I'm still being cautiously excited for now, but Jordan says he feels strongly that this baby will stay with us. And Doctor said everything looked perfect so we decided that we would let everyone in on the secret since everyone at my work is finding out anyway. ha ha ha.
My "baby bump."
Here is our little baby "berry's" heart beat. (at the bottom of the picture)
Look at my little "berry!" The little arm is waving "hi" to us. Not really, but it's cute to think so.
This is the best picture because you can see the entire outline of our baby. You can see the cute head and the tiny little arms on the sides and the body. :) Doctor said baby is looking right at me in this one.
My next appointment isn't until the 28th of July so I have about another 4 weeks to wait. But we are grateful to be a mommy and daddy of this little one. I honestly, don't think that parenting starts when the baby is born. I think it starts once you find out you are pregnant. I have been ready for this chance to be a part of Heavenly Fathers eternal plan and to be able to carry one of his children inside me and care for them, love them, and raise them to know their Heavenly Parents.
I got a good idea from one of my Best friends while growing up to start a journal for the baby. And that's what I am doing. Thanks to Cami for the idea because I am sure my baby will appreciate it when they are older. We already have names picked out because Jordan got excited and wanted to find the right ones. So he basically chose the names and I liked them both so we are going to keep them. I won't tell you what they are just yet, but we love them. :D
Well, now you all know the story. Today I am 9 weeks and 2 days along. :)
