Past Avents!

Okay blogger is doing something wierd cause all the pictures on here are showing up as words and letters kind of like in the Layout setting so I can't really move any of it around so I will do my best. ha ha. These are pictures of Jordans 21st birthday. I blew up about 125 balloons and when he came home he was super excited so he played in them. If you have ever seen the movie Patch Adams there is a scene where there is a room completely full of balloons and you can't really see anything. Jordan has always dreamed of something like that so I tried my best with what little money we have. Obviously we don't drink alcohol so even though the age 21 isn't a big deal to us I wanted to make it a big deal for him anyway. So I also baked him a cake with the help of my sister-in-law Jamie and we decorated it in the shape of a soccer ball cause Jordan loves (and misses) playing soccer. I think he liked it so that made me happy! :) He is one of the most amazing people I know and I love him with all my heart. This is our other snake that we got. He is basically full grown and he is big! As you might be able to see in the pictures he is much bigger than our other snake. We got him when we were down in Roy for thanksgiving weekend. Jordan just happened to be looking online at snakes (because he is facinated by them) and he found this snake with everything for 100. Since he had that much from his birthday money I let him get the snake. The snake came with its cage and a "house" and a bunch of branches he could climb on, a waterbowl, and a cage stand. We added everything up and it was really around 400 dollars that she paid for everything. So we got a pretty dang good deal. The previous owner named him Tango but never really used it on him and jordan and I like jungle names so we named him Rafiki (off of Lion King). Jordan gets their names mixed up alot lol. But they aren't bad pets at all. I would prefer a dog, but that will be a while before we get one. ha ha. This is our lovely Christmas tree. Our colors for it this year are blue and silver. My dad gave us some lights for the tree and a few other decorations so we were very grateful for that! I made these pinecones (made them sparkly and silvery) cause I like those kind of decorations(they look like the ones from walmart, but those were a dollar a piece and my homemade ones were much cheaper. I put the decorations up on the day after Thanksgiving when I got home from work. That day was by far the longest day at work EVER! Even though we had a bunch more people in the store it was like the time was just not going anywhere. Very slow. But now that its up our home looks more festive. It will never be as good as my mom and dads beautiful tree, but I can attempt. ha ha. Unfortunately, I have been very forgetful lately and haven't taken my camera with me. So I have no pictures from thanksgiving and I have no pictures for my moms birthday. But I had a great time for both times I was down there. First I want to let everyone in my family know how much I love them and how dear they are to me! I miss them constantly and wish I could spend more time with all of them. I am grateful for the examples they have all been in my life and how I treasure each and everyone of them. Secondly, I just want my mom to know that I love her SO VERY much! I wish her all the happiness in the world and more because that's what she gave to me growing up. She is the best mom that I could ever ask for. I love you mom! Happy Birthday today!!! :D Hugs and kisses from Jordan and I.

Halloween Parties Galore!!

HOME DEPOT HALLOWEEN!:
This is David and Stacie who happen to work with us and are also some good friends. They are Superman/Clark Kent and Lois Lane! So cute! :) Stacie is the host of this party and she is such a sweetheart to do so. She had deserts and snacks ready for us a couple of movies and games. Most of the people there were Home Depot Associates! GO HOME DEPOT!
Below is Brandy and Jared starring as Billy the Zombie and Winefred the Witch (Hocus Pocus) :)
This is a Jordan and Reed after playing Guitar Hero! Reed is an Olympic Jump Roper person lol.
Bold
Above, Jordan makes one very sexy and scary Zombie if I do say so myself. Below is a picture of me as a dark vampire fairy. Kinda creepy but kinda cool too! Definitely something original! lol.
Overall it was just a fun time to watch a movie and relax and yet still have fun! A KIDS DREAM PARTY!: So this was a great party! One of my top best. Jordan is a Zombie and I am a Nature Fairy.
They have to stand still while the donut that they choose spins around on a fan. The first one to eat their donut all the way wins! lol. It was hilarious to watch cause the donuts just kept spinning and they had to wait for theirs to come around to even get a bite lol.
We also had pumpkin carving which was a lot of fun. This is just me carving out my own.
This is the end result of all our pumpkin carving. Aren't they beautiful?
This is our game group. :) We call it game night and go over and play games each Sunday night. It's fun every time! Starting from left to right we have Elise and Tim (the hosts of game night), Robert and Chealsea, Lyndsay and Jeremy, and Jordan and I. Tim, Robert, Jeremy, Jordan, and I all work at the Home Depot and so this is how we made up game night. :) Its awesome! We are all standing in front of the pumpkins we carved. Jordans was the Headless horseman and mine was a spider lol. (sorry Krystal, I know you absolutely hate them lol)
All in all it was a great night! We also made caramel apples and cooked the pumpkin seeds and decorated sugar cookies so we were constantly busy lol. Elise and Tim went as the spider and the web, Robert and Chealsea went as "Where's Waldo" characters, Lyndsay and Jeremy went as a cow and a farmer, and you already know what jordan and I are lol.
HARRY POTTER PARTY!: On Halloween Night we attended a friends party and the theme was Harry Potter. So this is Jordan and I. Jordan is Seamus Finnigan (the one who gets his face blown up all the time) and I was Professor Hooch (the one who teaches them to ride brooms and is the referee of Quidditch). These are pictures of some of our closest friends the hosts of the party Colby and Leslie Majors and as you can see they are Dumbledore and Professor Mcgonagall. (sorry for bad spelling). Below is a picture of most of the group. We had fun and played our own special version of Quidditch and a trivia game of Harry Potter. The food was delicious as well. :) Fun day! :)

Our new family member!

So this is Bagheera our new pet snake. :) He is a ball python and we named him after the panther off of the movie "The Jungle Book." He has made a nice addition to our family. Jordan really really wanted him so I decided he could have him. He's been a pretty neat pet so far, but he's supposed to get much bigger so we shall see. I wish we could have a dog instead, but we can't.
Below is a picture of him.
This is Bagheera eating his favorite meal: a mouse!
This is him swallowing that mouse down his tiny throat.
This is a better picture of him while on my lap. :) What a cute lil guy.

Summer has Come and Gone

Well summer is now ending and school is beginning again. Jordan is starting another semester at Utah State. GO AGGIES! I will hopefully be starting Spring semester. Anywho... sorry for not updating sooner, but we have been busy and tired. So to start I am gonna tell you about all of our adventures and trips for the summer. Our first trip (after the honeymoon) was to pineview reservoir for a couple nights of camping. Jordan wanted to test out our new camping stuff that we got from our wedding. Here are a few pictures from that event:
Me with Marshmellow stuffed in my mouth Jordan and I laying in our tent on our air mattress. ha ha.
Jordan eating yummy smores!

Our next summer adventure was at Bear Lake with Jordan's family... we had a blast because we went to the lake and swam and wakeboarded. It was my first time at Bear Lake and only my second time wakeboarding and it was a BLAST! The water was like bathtub warm and it was just a beautiful place. The lake was a pretty blue... looked almost hawaiin. And where we camped was up in the mountains. Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE nature especially the mountains and lakes. Here are the pictures: Me and Jamie! lol.

Me and Jordan while camping! (yes my hair is dark now)
Jordan in front of the Minnetonka cave! SO AWESOME!
It's blurry, but the temperature in the caves is 40 degrees! It was SO cold!

The caves were amazing and a wonderful site. When we were at the very last cave of the entire 9 we saw they turned off all the lights to show us just how dark it can really be. You don't understand total darkness until you have been in here. You can be waving you hand two inches from your face and you can't see it AT ALL! It was crazy.

Me Wakeboarding: Look at how bright blue the water is :D

Jordan Wakingboarding. Warning: You might feel dizzy or sea sick after watching this upcoming video lol. (It's a bit bumpy, but I was on a boat! lol)

This is the beautiful campsite we stayed at.

That was a couple of fun summer events and hopefully there will be more for the next seasons. I will upload more pictures especially ones from the wedding when I actually get them lol. Oh and also pictures of our apartment lol. Thanks for being patient. :D
