We got LUCKY!
This is Lucky... our puppy! Our newest addition to our family. And we are so Lucky to have him! ;) ha ha... you don't have to laugh at that! From the very first day that we got him we have loved him SO VERY much! He was jumping up and down at me when I first met him and I couldn't get enough of him so we took him right then! He has been the most funny, loving, and crazy dog. I wouldn't trade him for any other because he fits perfectly into our little family.
Unfortunately, the previous owners named him and he was used to it so we decided to stick with it. We have decided it kind of fits him though for a few reasons. They are cheesy reasons, but it helped me adapt to his name! lol. His hair color has red in it... and red-heads are known to come from Ireland (Luck of the Irish!), We got him in March which is the month that has St. Patricks day in it (this holiday happens to be about Luck) and the day that this holiday is held on is the 17th (anything with a 7 or 9 in it is my lucky number) and we decided that St. Patricks day would be his "birthday" since the previous owners never told us the real date. So now that my funny quirks are over here are the pics of the little guy! :)
This is Lucky! Isn't he just SO cute? :D He is a one year old, male, full-bred, Pomeranian. (though we don't have the papers to prove he is full-bred)
We put a bark collar on him, though it wasn't even necessary. He hardly barks at all. Usually just when he hears other dogs barking, or when he hears strange noises at night outside our window. He thinks he is a big dog in a little body! ha ha.
This is Lucky's favorite toy! It was old and torn, so we went to the store and they had another one exactly like it, but darker blue and actually stuffed with cotton. :) He goes crazy when we start playing with it. One of his favorite games is to play tug of war with it.
We found out quick that Lucky doesn't like baths.... but then again most dogs don't. ha ha. He is actually good about it though. Once he is in the bath tub he just stands there instead of trying to escape or jump around to avoid the water.
Another thing we found out quick was that he LOVES meeting new people. This was our friend Colby's first encounter with Lucky and he was ALL over him. When I took him to the vet for his rabies shot, the doc told me that he is really impressed with Lucky's personality. He said that most dogs of his breed and gender are standoffish: either they are scared or they are mean and extremely territorial. GREAT news!
The third thing we found out was that Lucky loves car rides! The bad thing is that when the window is rolled down all the way he feels that he can survive hitting the road at 35 mph. So we have to hold onto his leg when we roll the window down so he won't jump out. ha ha. He likes the drivers seat best cause he can stand on the steering wheel and look out at everything :D
We just previously learned a few days ago that he also likes our new treadmill. We always knew he liked going on walks, but now he can enjoy walks and runs with me inside too! lol.
We believe the thing that Lucky loves to do best is sleep! Isn't he just so cute when he is sleeping? Awwww!
This is how Lucky usually sleeps. On his back with tongue flailing! :D LOL. Well this is it of him for now! I hope you all enjoyed!

Home Is Where The Heart Is
Sorry to take so long to update, but school and work has kept us busy. Now the semester is practically over and I decided to get on and post some pics. This is our first house and I have to say that it was quick to become our home!
We LOVE it here. It is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom townhouse and it has been perfect for us. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It has been a work in progress, but that makes it all the more fun :) This was also my very first chance to paint and I went crazy with it... I had to paint almost every room right away because I didn't want to wait. I also couldn't stand the previous color that was on EVERY single wall. It was an ugly off-white color, beige-ish, but whoever painted the walls did a terrible job. There were spots that were missed and others that looked disgusting so I absolutely had to repaint immediately. :D lol. So here it is!
This is the outside of our house :) Luckily, the roof was redone and same with the siding.
This is our garage and believe me it is SO nice to have after having to try and find a parking spot every night (with no success I might add) at our old apartment complex.
This is the bigger picture of our backyard. The fence needs to be redone, but our HOA people are supposed to work on that. Not sure if it will get done or not, but maybe we can save up money and redo it ourselves. We haven't been able to sit outside much due to the cold weather, but we have had a few BBQ's which were delicious :)
This is our living room. It is kinda hard to tell in the picture, but it's painted a light green color. It looks a lot better in person :) Jordan is just playing his new favorite Wii game "Call of Duty."
This is our little laundry room/utility room. My father-in-law came and helped us hook up a gas line for our dryer and then he was SO very kind to give us all these shelves and help put them up as well. :D
This is our half bathroom and I think it is absolutely adorable. Yes it is lavender because lavender is a calming color and it also matches the sink counter in there which is yellow.
This is our dining area, which is connected to our kitchen. Those drapes came with the house, but once I have time and money I am gonna make or get some new ones.
This is our main bathroom which is nice and spacious and we don't feel cramped when we are both in there getting ready :P We also plan to repaint these cabinets in white. One thing I love about this bathroom is that it has a big skylight and it just lets in this beautiful filtered light. You can kind of see a plant at the top of the picture and that is because it is hanging from the skylight.
Another thing that is great about our house is the address. It is basically across the street from our work at "The Home Depot" so I get to enjoy riding my bike there when its warm out. The other thing is (for those that don't know) my lucky numbers have always been 7 and 9 or anything with a 7 or a 9 in it. And whats funny is our address is 177 W. 1190 N. I will post more pics later (in the month) of our new puppy, Mr. Lucky.
Thanks for coming on this tour of our house! ;)

Something needs Said:
I just wanted to say how much I love my family. They mean SO very much to me. Its hard for me to be away from all of them especially at this time of year. Its just not Christmas unless I am with them. Even with all the snow up here it just doesn't feel the same. Luckily, Jordan and I will be able to come home in time for Christmas and spend some time with the family. This is gonna be long, but it something that needs said.
First, I am grateful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which is the true and everlasting church. Without the gospel I would be in the worst state of mind possible. I would never have survived in this world. I look at all those who are lost and I feel sorry for them. Their lives are always in a state of unhappiness. Their happiness only lasts for the moment that its made. My happiness will last forever. I Love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Though I cannot see them I speak with them often and I know they understand any of my pains and my burdens, but they seek for my happiness. I feel them with me often and I am thankful that they are willing to stick with someone such as I.
I am grateful for my brother Josh. While on his mission he truly inspired me to listen, ponder, and pray. I didn't really care to feel the Holy Spirit until he prompted me to just pray about the true church. I look up to him in so many ways. Even if he doesn't realize it, he was my "light" helping me up the right path. We have never been able to get along very well while growing up, but I have always loved him.
I am grateful for my sister Krystal. In so many ways she has been there for me.. never judging me and just listening to my problems. She has taught me so many important things about life and family. She is an inspiration to all. She has more love in her heart than a lot of people I know. She has helped me to become a more mature woman and wife through her actions. We grew up shopping together, having movie nights, and eating at Chick-fil-a and every Christmas Eve we would sleep in her room with her little Christmas tree all lit up. She is a great sister, daughter, wife and mother.
I am grateful for my sister Angie. She has been a great sister. She has always given me advice while growing up and also helped me with some problems. She has always tried to take care of me like I was her own daughter. She would buy me clothes and makeup, give me her old jewelry, buy me food, and take me shopping with her. Though all these things include money, she is worth more than that. She has a warm and caring heart... buying things or giving her own things away is just one of her personal ways of showing her love for you. And she showed me her love all the time. She is always trying her best to be a good mom, wife, daughter, and sister, but what she doesn't know is that she already is just by loving those around her.
I am grateful for my new brother-in-laws who have made my life all the more better. They are always concerned for me and they are always showing they care. I am glad they married my sisters because nobody else could have fit the part of husband better than them. I can see how much they love my sisters and it makes me happy.
I am grateful for my neice(s) and nephew. They are so amazing. Seeing them grow is just a blessing. They are little miracles from our Heavenly Father. They have wonderful parents and I am so glad that I am their Aunt.
I am grateful for my Mom and Dad, Lori and Kevin. They have taught me my whole life about the true church of Christ and though I have strayed from the path at times, they have always been there to help me. They were my first "guides" who led me from the very beginning of my life to the right path. I am thankful that they are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They have taught me how to be a better person, how to think of others before myself, and how to live in a world which has been turning for the worse. They mean so much to me. They have taught me that marriage is forever... that it can go through the most toughest of times and still survive.
I am grateful for my cousins... all of them. Without them I wouldn't have had as good a childhood or as good of memories as the ones I have now. They are some of my closest friends. They are what helps keep family events going.
I am grateful for my Aunts and Uncles who have helped raise me in their own ways just like my parents. They have shown me much love while growing up and I couldn't have made it this far without them. They are part of my most wonderful of memories and I wouldn't trade those for anything.
I am grateful for my both sets of my grandparents. They have supported me my whole life and have given me memories that I would never trade or give away for anything in the world. Their love has always shown through for me. I love their hugs and kisses... I can never get enough of them.
I am also grateful for my added family, The Pitchfords, Kevin, Gaylene, Jamie, and Amberly. Without this mom and dad my husband, Jordan, would have never been. So I am glad they fell in love. I am also thankful that they are members of the church because without their example to their son, without their teachings of the gospel, Jordan and I might never have considered marriage to one another. I am thankful that they accepted me as part of the family even before Jordan and I were engaged. I am grateful for Jamie and Amberly who have become my best friends, my sisters. They have such wonderful spirits (even if they don't know they do). They have some of the best personalities around. They are funny, talented in many ways, and they are such sweet and caring people.
I love all my family. And I am so grateful that families are forever because I don't think I could survive without them. Infact I KNOW I couldn't survive without them.
I saved the best for last.
I am grateful for my husband Jordan who without I would not be who I am today. He has made me a better person. And in so many ways he completes me. I love him with all my heart. He truly is a wonderful person, a wonderful man, a wonderful husband. He tries his best to make me happy and shows his love for me all the time. He has taken over the job of "guide" and has continued to lead me forward in these hard times. He is EVERYTHING to me. Words cannot express what I feel for him. I only wish for his happiness. Just to see him happy makes me happy as well. I LOVE HIM! My one and only wonderful hubby!!!

Past Avents!
Okay blogger is doing something wierd cause all the pictures on here are showing up as words and letters kind of like in the Layout setting so I can't really move any of it around so I will do my best. ha ha. These are pictures of Jordans 21st birthday. I blew up about 125 balloons and when he came home he was super excited so he played in them. If you have ever seen the movie Patch Adams there is a scene where there is a room completely full of balloons and you can't really see anything. Jordan has always dreamed of something like that so I tried my best with what little money we have. Obviously we don't drink alcohol so even though the age 21 isn't a big deal to us I wanted to make it a big deal for him anyway. So I also baked him a cake with the help of my sister-in-law Jamie and we decorated it in the shape of a soccer ball cause Jordan loves (and misses) playing soccer. I think he liked it so that made me happy! :) He is one of the most amazing people I know and I love him with all my heart.
This is our other snake that we got. He is basically full grown and he is big! As you might be able to see in the pictures he is much bigger than our other snake. We got him when we were down in Roy for thanksgiving weekend. Jordan just happened to be looking online at snakes (because he is facinated by them) and he found this snake with everything for 100. Since he had that much from his birthday money I let him get the snake. The snake came with its cage and a "house" and a bunch of branches he could climb on, a waterbowl, and a cage stand. We added everything up and it was really around 400 dollars that she paid for everything. So we got a pretty dang good deal. The previous owner named him Tango but never really used it on him and jordan and I like jungle names so we named him Rafiki (off of Lion King). Jordan gets their names mixed up alot lol. But they aren't bad pets at all. I would prefer a dog, but that will be a while before we get one. ha ha.
This is our lovely Christmas tree. Our colors for it this year are blue and silver. My dad gave us some lights for the tree and a few other decorations so we were very grateful for that! I made these pinecones (made them sparkly and silvery) cause I like those kind of decorations(they look like the ones from walmart, but those were a dollar a piece and my homemade ones were much cheaper. I put the decorations up on the day after Thanksgiving when I got home from work. That day was by far the longest day at work EVER! Even though we had a bunch more people in the store it was like the time was just not going anywhere. Very slow. But now that its up our home looks more festive. It will never be as good as my mom and dads beautiful tree, but I can attempt. ha ha.
Unfortunately, I have been very forgetful lately and haven't taken my camera with me. So I have no pictures from thanksgiving and I have no pictures for my moms birthday. But I had a great time for both times I was down there. First I want to let everyone in my family know how much I love them and how dear they are to me! I miss them constantly and wish I could spend more time with all of them. I am grateful for the examples they have all been in my life and how I treasure each and everyone of them. Secondly, I just want my mom to know that I love her SO VERY much! I wish her all the happiness in the world and more because that's what she gave to me growing up. She is the best mom that I could ever ask for. I love you mom! Happy Birthday today!!! :D Hugs and kisses from Jordan and I.
