Job

So, I applied for a job at Utah State. I have a friend who works there and she referred me. So I applied and only a couple days later they called me to do an interview. So I texted my friend and told her to wish me luck... and she did, but she also congratulated me. I asked her why she was congratulating me and she told me that they only pick 3 to 5 people to interview for the job and that they must have liked me to choose me. Well....... I really don't think the interview went well. I think they liked me and all, but I don't think I "stood out" to them. I don't really have any qualities that they would see as amazing or outstanding.... nothing that would make them remember me. I have to wait a week or so more before they announce who got the job. I'm a little disappointed the interview didn't go better just because my current job is driving me bonkers and I need change. lol. But Heavenly Father has a plan for everything... and maybe this job just isn't in his plan for me. So we will see :)

I have the best husband in the world! He knows how to pick me up when I am down. I love him with all my heart and always have. Anyone who thinks otherwise is dead wrong. I married him because I love him, I married him because he makes me a better person, he is my other half... there is nobody like him in this world or any other world. He is one of a kind. I may take him for granted at times, but he always amazes me with how sweet he is and how he always knows what to say to make me feel better. I am so deeply in love with him! :D

Life As We Know It!

It's been far too long since I have updated my blog. ha ha... I am a slacker. So far life is going pretty good. We have had our struggles since the miscarriage, but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel... it's just taking some time trying to get out of said tunnel. :) We just went on a great vacation to Las Vegas to get away for a little bit and it was AMAZING! We had a nice big spa suite that had a jacuzzi in it and a king size bed, the weather was SO warm, we got to go swimming, and we walked the strip, and went shopping. :) So many of the stores down there were name brand stuff that costs a fortune!!! We found a mall that had a few normal stores in it. :) Now its back to the real world of work. Hopefully pictures will follow... as long as I am up to it lol. :D

Zo-Zo.

We got another beautiful dog and her name is Zoey. She looks just like Lucky, but even smaller! She is only 4 lbs and most of it is fluffy hair. :) She is one of the sweetest dogs we have met and we love her SO much already. We still have a lot to learn about her, but here are the things we have picked up so far about her personality. Enjoy the pics! Meet Zoey!

• She is an amazing cuddle-bug and she sleeps right next to me at night.
• She gets really excited when Jordan and I come home from work and she just twirls and twirls around in circles.

Before:

• Her and Lucky didn't get along at first as you can see by picture 1, but now they do and they are very cute together.

After:

• We gave her some nick-names (though i am sure they have been used already lol) and they are Zo-Zo, Zoers, and Zo-Zo Bean.
• She is afraid of almost everything! Most loud noises scare her and she is very sensitive about it.

• She is very good about going on walks. Her previous owners were awesome and were able to teach her to stay by their side without a leash. So now, when we take her up the canyon by the river she just stays by us and only stops to sniff a few leaves. We had to put her on a leash for our first walk because we weren't sure if she would really stay by us since we were new to her.

• She also loves riding on our backs when we go on car rides. I guess she has been in a car wreck before and she got scared of the air bag. :) She just looks so darn cute up there that we can't bare to bring her down.

• When she is laying on the couch she crosses her two front paws and it is the cutest thing ever!

The last few things we have notice about her are:

• She loves having her belly and ears scratched.

• She doesn't really like baths.
• And she is one picky eater. Lucky just eats any doggy treats that she refuses to eat (even when we break it up into smaller pieces). lol.

This is our new sweetheart and we are excited to have her with us! :) She is a doll!
