The Beginning of our Memories

Our story started at lovely ol' Roy High School where we both fell head over heals in love with each other. Melissa and I first met at a football game where we started to talk to each other. We then attended an "after game" party at my friends house. This is where I recieved Melissa's phone number. Later, I asked her to Haunted Hollow for our very first date. It was the Sadie's Hawkins dance for our school, but she had no money to ask me (since it was girls choice) and I didn't get asked by anyone so I took the chance to take her out. It was amazing! :) It was a little awkward at first cause we were both shy, but she ended up getting scared and held my hand through the middle of it. We dated all through 11th and 12th grade and our Freshman year of college and we are still going strong. We didn't become "official" until February 14th, 2007. Yes... Valentines Day! Ha ha. We decided then and there that we didn't want to share a life with anyone else but each other... so we gave each other a promise ring. To this day, when no one believes that we will make it, we show them just how strong our love and devotion to each other is. So far I plan to ask her to marry me soon enough. She knows its coming, but she is very anxious to know when. :) She is already starting the plans. lol. We plan for it to be next June so that she can finish her Associates Degree up at Weber, and so that it will be a summer wedding instead of winter. Too cold for her and our families. Ha ha. :)
