I have no pics for this post, but for Mothers Day Jordan decided to give me a certificate for a day at the spa. He is always hearing me complain about how much my body hurts and how I need a good back rub so he found a great deal for a 4 hour day at a spa in Salt Lake. I get an hour massage, a 1.5 hour facial, and a 1.5 hour pedicure. I am SOOOOO excited to use it. I've already got that day all set up!
For the day we went down to Jordans parents. First we went to their ward and listened to all the wonderful talks and the children singing. Brailey decided to get a little fussy in the middle so I had to leave for a while. Then we went back to their house and we gave my amazing Mother In Law her gifts. And surprise! She got me a small gift too. A candle and some of my favorite chocolates. Yum! I think I ate them all right then and there. lol.
Afterwards, I decided to go surprise my grandmas and I went to see them. I got to talk to them for a little while and wish them a wonderful mothers day. I love them both SO very much. Brailey fell asleep in Her Great Grandma Johnsons arms and it was the cutest thing to see. :) My grandma didn't want to let her go. ha ha.
My mom was on a cruise (well coming back from one) on Mothers day so I didn't get to see her that day, but I was thinking about her all day.
I am so very grateful Heavenly Father has given me the chance to be Brailey's mommy. I couldn't have asked for a better gift then to be a mother. I am blessed not only to be a mom but to have two wonderful mothers. My mom who raised me and my mom who welcomed me to her family. They are both such beautiful mothers. They have kind hearts and open arms and they just adore their new granddaughter.
I also have two wonderful sisters who are also mothers and they have always been examples in my life. They are both fantastic and loving! They are so strong and positive with their children and I am always amazed at my nieces and nephews with all that they are learning and doing. I just keep hoping that I will be as good a mother as they all are. Only time will tell.
I hope to one day meet my Heavenly Mother because she is the greatest example of all.
