Update!

So its been a long time since I have gotten on here, but I just wanted to update everyone. I haven't had time to get on here because of school and the wedding so that is my excuse....even if it's a lame one. lol. School is finally over and I just might be getting my Associates degree. It's nothing big, but its definately a start. :) First, Jordan and I bought a new car. It's an SUV! :D We needed something for that terrible canyon heading to Logan when we come to visit home. The winds and snow and rain are just crap in that canyon. The suv is a Hyundai Santa Fe 2004... and it's AMAZING! I love it! Jordan sold his Honda Civic so we still just have my crappy car for town driving and the new one for longer trips and stormy weather. :) lol. Second, Jordan and I are almost definately sure of which apartment we are getting at Aggie Village.... we haven't been able to look at it, but we got to see a model apartment so we are WAY excited. We get to move in on June 1st, but of course I won't be able to until June 19th ;). Thirdly, we decided where we are going on our honeymoon and that is to California. :D We are gonna drive there and stay at the travelodge which happens to be 2 blocks from Disneyland and we plan on spending one day there, one day at the beach, one day just relaxing (we might drive down to San Diego and go do temple work there) and one other day at 6 flags. We are pretty excited about that! ha ha. Fourthly, we are doing way good and we ARE getting married in the Salt Lake Temple.... we got invitations done, my bridals (pictures) are coming up soon, and everything seems to be going just great! :) Now all thats left to do is work and wait. lol. That's the update for now. :) lol. Sorry there are no pictures... I am not on my computer right now.

The House of the Lord

Being apart from the person you love, even if its only for a few days, really makes you realize just how much you miss them and how important they really are in your life. This long-distance relationship between Jordan and I is hard to handle, but I have noticed that it has really strengthened our love for one another. I love Jordan so very much! I don't know who or where I would be without him here helping me along the way.

On Jordan's day off from work he decided to come and visit me. We usually just stay at home and watch a movie or go to the mall... things that aren't very expensive. Jordan asked me what I wanted to do that day and in return I just asked him what he wanted to do. He was spontaneous and said that we should have a candle light dinner and go to temple square. (Temple Square happens to be my favorite place for a date!) He never suggests driving very far because it costs so much money in gasoline (especially since he has already driven all the way down from Logan to see me) so it was a big surprise to hear him say that.

I told him that it might not work because I was working until 6:30 that night and it would be another half hour before I got home. So, instead we decided to skip the candle light dinner and go for wendy's. lol. When we got to Temple Square I was able to take Jordan for his first time through the Beehive house. At the end of the tour we got gift cards to any of the restaurants in the Joseph Smith building and two of the tabernacle choir cd's. That was a surprise we were not expecting at all. :) Afterwards we walked around Temple Square enjoying the lights and beauty and peacefulness of it all.
