Amazing Baby Shower!!!

Well, Brailey's Baby shower came and went and I just have to say that it turned out WONDERFUL! I have the best family in the world!
We played some wonderful games, in this one we played guess which diaper has the "poop" in it, but really it was just an m&m candy. lol. Lets just say I failed at this game.
The awesome Diaper Cake that my momma made! Isn't it just SO cute?
This is some of the wonderful decorating that my sister Krystal did for the shower! I absolutely LOVED it! It was more than I dreamed of.
Lots of gifts from all the awesome people who attended the shower! It was like early Christmas. ha ha ha.
Some of the COOLEST friends who came to support me and my little girl (one couldn't attend due to recently having a baby, but if she had made it she would have been in this group lol)
This is all the gifts laid out! We got TONS of stuff! Just about everything we needed and wanted, and more!
Overall, I had the best time and it was a great turnout with great friends and family to support us. We couldn't have asked for anything more! The best present I received out of all of this was having my friends and family there! I love them all!!!! I am so very grateful for having such amazing people do so much for me.

Loving Husband!

I just have to write about how I have such an AMAZING husband and ultimate best friend.
Today, while I was at work, Jordan had the day off and did a lot to help me out. He helped fold all the laundry that I left in the basket (which was about 3 loads worth), he took the time to make a bunch of meals that we can freeze and reheat later on because 1. I don't really like cooking unless it's desserts. 2. I don't usually have the time to make meals with our work schedules being so crazy and usually opposite from each others. And on top of helping me out, he has been working so hard to get his school schedule figured out by visiting his school counselor and working so hard at work to help provide for us. This man is such a wonderful guy. I love him for so many reasons that sometimes I can't even describe.
I love that he is always there for me when I need him and even when I don't. He supports me in so many ways and is always trying to help me out with my projects. He's not the cleanest person, and let's face it, I am a clean freak most all the time, but he is always trying to better himself to make me happy... and having a clean house is just one of the many ways to make me happy. ha ha.
He is always making funny faces and trying to make me laugh... especially when I am in a bad mood. He knows how to lighten the mood and to turn my bad days into good days. And he doesn't do this just for me.... he does it for everyone. He is always helping others and is such a great friend to everyone he meets. He is my earthly guide to becoming a better person. Many times when I want to say something mean or out of line he always stops me (or at least advises me otherwise because I don't always listen).
He is such an adventurer. He is always trying new things whether it's food, sports, crafts, and fixing things up in our house or with our cars. He always wants to be out and about doing something rather than sitting and watching television, which is what I do most often now because I'm just worn out after work. He is always getting me up and out of the house...even if its just for a walk around the block or around town.
And who can resist those eyes and that smile?? I sure can't! His eyes change colors and I love it because they either look like an eclipse with the moon blocking out the sun in a bright blue sky, or they look like the ocean, blue with a hint of green and brown. He is SO handsome and I can never resist that smile. I am such a lucky girl to have gotten such a handsome guy to love someone like me.
This man is my bestest friend of all best friends. I have dated him since 11th grade and have learned so much about him over the years. He is sweet, and loving, and laid back, and smart, and just overall the best! I do believe that there is more than just one person "meant" for each of us on this earth, but Heavenly Father knew that this is the one and only that I would ever want and be the happiest with. I know that there is no way of knowing if I could have been happier with anyone else or not, but I honestly believe that this is the happiest I could ever be with any man. He truly is my better half, he is my best half. I love this man more than words can say. He is wonderful, he is my EVERYTHING.

Braileys Room

Okay: so for those of you that haven't seen on facebook... here is pictures of my little girls room. Not quite finished, but getting better. :)
This is the entry way when you first walk into her room. You have the rocking chair, armoire, and swing. Eventually the white walls will have pictures of her on them and family pics and such. So just remember, its still a work in progress.
This is the best wall in the house or at least the cutest wall in the house. :) I love it. I made the flowers and painted the wall and her name. As you can see her colors are going to be Turquoise, Bright green, Pink, with Brown to contrast. ha ha.
This is my rocking chair. I found some cute cushions that match the colors of her room at work although you can't quite see them very well with the lighting from the picture.
This is the quilt I made for her. :) Her theme is Jungle cause I love nature so that is why there are elephants on it. This took me two days to make which most usually only take me one day so this blanket was quite the project... especially since all the squares are smaller than what I usually make them. Jordan actually designed the blanket on paper and he helped me figure out the angles for the edging. :) Such a sweetheart!
Her awesome crib with jungle themed bedding set though you can't really see that its jungle themed. lol.
This is her name close up with the flowers. :D
Her cute little swing
And matching stroller with carseat. I love these colors. :)
I already love my little girl so much and I am SO SO SO excited to meet her. :) I know I still have quite a bit of time before I do.... don't get me wrong I am very much enjoying pregnancy! I love feeling her twist and kick, which she does all the time now, and I love that I am getting bigger everyday. I love everything about it! Even the crazy dreams to the peeing every 20 minutes, and wierd eye migraines that I sometimes get. I don't mean to sound like I am bragging about all of this, but this pregnancy has been amazing and I don't take one second of it for granted. I have been very lucky to not experience an ounce of morning sickness, though my body has been more susceptible to coughs and such, but easy enough to deal with.
I know that everyone says it gets worse with back pains and stretch marks and kicking in the ribs and such... and I believe them, but I am going to enjoy it as best I can because it means my little girl is growing and staying healthy and strong. She is our little angel. And Jordan is very much excited about her. Its so fun to have him feel her move and kick cause he gets this huge smile on his face when she does. He loves her just as much as I do already and we can't wait to have her here with us in February. :)

Our little Angel!!!! :D

Viewer Discretion is Advised for the first picture! lol.
Jordan and I will be welcoming a beautiful, healthy, angel GIRL! We couldn't be more excited for this little one who will soon be joining us in this world. :) Ever since the end of high school when Jordan and I promised that we would always love each other I have had this very STRONG, DEEP feeling that my first baby would be a little girl. I have only felt something so strongly a few other times in my life before. So when I got pregnant my feelings did not change, but regardless of my feelings, I was still excited to have a little boy too.
Jordan and I have been picking out names since my last pregnancy and have changed them over and over again. Ever since I had that strong undeniable feeling of having a girl as my first baby I started to pick out names and found one that I loved. I have kept it in our list as one of the top, but Jordan never really seemed to go for it completely.... he was always searching for another name. After going over a bunch of names that we either didn't like or didn't agree on, we came down to two final names for a girl. One being Ashlyn and the other being the name I have loved for so long. (The boys name was already picked out). I kept asking him which name, but he couldn't decide. Finally, I told Jordan that we needed to make a decision on which name we wanted for a little girl so that we would have it ready by the "big" ultrasound. And now that we know that baby is a girl we have chosen her name. The name I love....
Brailey Ann Pitchford
All the arrows point to girl! Right now it just looks like a little bum. :)
Caught a pic while she was yawning! Awwww... what a cutie already!
Isn't she just beautiful?? :D
We are so very blessed to be able to bring this little one into this world and care for her. We could never do as good a job as our Heavenly Father, but He is trusting us with her in this life to teach her and help her learn and grow. I couldn't be more happy or grateful that He has given me this chance to be a mommy and to take care of one His precious angels. I am so very excited that she will be with us in only 20 more weeks. :)
Last, but not least, I have been feeling her move. FINALLY! I have asked many different pregnant mommies what it feels like to them and they all have different ways to describe it. Some have said they feel bubbles, others feel like its a butterfly, some say it feels like they are poking you from the inside, and some say it feels like a little kick. Mine, currently, feels like a little flick (kinda like when you flick someone in the arm with your finger, but inside my tummy right where baby is. I have been able to distinguish it from gas because, well, my gas moves in slow, but big motions and are usually located more up in my high ribs and stomach area. These "flicks" are little and are very quick motions. Now that I have felt it a couple times its impossible not to know what it is. :)
